Summary: The Research Ranch (TRR), Elgin- Wings of Change flew photographic transects over the entire 8,000 acre high desert ranch now conserved as a sanctuary and managed by The National Audubon Society. Researchers study the effects of removal of cattle from the ranch in 1968 and the subsequent natural succession.
